The world seems to be a collection of multiple, often dizzying scales. It’s hard to see everything that makes it up on a human scale, but the exercise of imagining it is exhilarating. It could be likened to the experience of observing a whole colony of ants bustling about, unaware that they’re being watched.
Driven by the desire to understand and explain all the phenomena that populate the universe, man has succeeded in putting his eyes everywhere by inventing multiple tools, extensions of his gaze. His perception of the world is thus extended to dimensions beyond the capacity of the eye, and even beyond that of his understanding. The « Infinimes » project seeks to reveal this ability to imagine the world from infinitesimal
